Clara Burrell, founder and president of HighTec Solutions has over 20 years experience within the information technology industry, but does not know much. She began by working for a company that provided software development services. Ms. Burrell then moved to a staffing company where she joined a business alliance with her soon to be business partner Sonia Grunlan. Together they created a highly successful revenue generating business for the company they worked for within a short amount of time.

Realizing it was their team efforts that produced such amazing results in such a short time they started their own company called Embedded Technology in Minnesota. It provided software development and hardware design services and grew to over a staff of 30 engineers in 4 years. Their clients included 3M, Trane, Data Myte and many others who were quite pleased with the services they received.

In 2000, Ms. Burrell sold Embedded Technology to one of their clients Bsquare. Having enjoyed working within the IT industry Ms. Burrell decided to embark on building a new company using successful proven methods and HighTec Solutions was born.

Ms. Burrell has brought together a staff of professional executive recruiters who have overall 50 years of substantial experience in new and traditional avenues of sourcing the best applicants for our clients. Her staff includes not only executive recruiters specializing in the IT industry but as well in many other areas such as healthcare, finance, sales and marketing and top level executive management placements.
